Cook County Commissioner and Palos Township Republican Committeeman Sean Morrison was unanimously elected Chair of the Cook County Republican Central Committee.
“I want to thank my fellow committeemen for your display of confidence in voting by acclimation to elect me your Chairman.” Morrison said. “We will continue building on the many successes we have had in recent years and make the Cook Republican Party a stronger party.”
Outgoing Chairman Aaron Del Mar decided not seek re-election as chair and tapped his Deputy Chairman for the Job. “Sean is familiar with the leadership structure of the party and has been an invaluable member of the leadership team during my tenure as Chairman. I am very pleased the party was unified in electing him.” said Del Mar.
