Chicago, IL - Cook County GOP Chairman Sean Morrison congratulated all of the Republican Primary winners this week and called for the party to unify behind all of the party's nominees.
"Republican voters have selected some outstanding candidates to face-off against Democrats in November. I'm looking forward to our candidates bringing a strong message of reform to voters especially in the face of all the corruption ravaging the Democratic Party," said Chairman Morrison.
Patrick O'Brien was the overwhelming choice of GOP voters for State's Attorney on Tuesday so he will now take on controversial incumbent Kim Foxx.
Joining Pat O'Brien on the Cook County ticket will be Barbara Bellar, MD for Clerk of the Circuit Court and incumbent Dan Patlak for Board of Review. Both ran unopposed in the March 17 primary election. "Our Cook County ticket possesses highly qualified candidates for all three elected offices. Our candidates bring a level of professionalism and integrity that is sorely needed in county government," added Chairman Morrison.
