Cook County GOP Chairman Sean M. Morrison is pleased to announce the appointment of Anthony Beckman to the post of Norwood Township Republican Committeeman effective immediately.
“It is my pleasure to announce the appointment of Anthony Beckman to the post of Republican Committeeman for the township of Norwood. Anthony has been a longtime supporter of the Republican Party and brings a unique skill set to our organization. He is going to do a great job,” said Morrison.
Anthony has served the Village of Norridge as a police officer for the last 14 years, including eight years serving as part of a regional SWAT Team called the Northern Illinois Police Alarm System (NIPAS). His background in collegiate and semi-professional football will lend itself well to the job, where his competitive nature and teamwork skills are great attributes.
“I’m excited to have this opportunity, and I look forward to strengthening the GOP presence in Norwood,” said Beckman.
The appointment takes effect immediately.
