Cook County GOP Chairman Sean M. Morrison is pleased to announce the appointment of Jesse Roberts to the post of 48th Ward Republican Committeeman effective immediately.
“It is my pleasure to announce the appointment of Jesse Roberts to the post of Republican Committeeman for the 48th Ward. Jesse is a proud, active resident in the community and brings a fresh voice to the Republican Party. He is going to do a great job,” said Morrison.
Jesse has served in the offices of former U.S. Senator Mark Kirk, Congressman Rodney Davis and continues to serve the Illinois Republican Party through the Ballot Integrity Project. Jesse is entering his final year of law school at the Chicago-Kent College of Law, where he serves on the executive board of the Federalist Society and is enrolled in the Corporate Law Certificate Program. Jesse’s background in government, politics and law will serve him well in this position.
“I am thankful to Chairman Morrison for the opportunity to serve the citizens and voters of Chicago’s 48th Ward. I look forward to strengthening the Republican base and supporting local candidates across the Ward,” said Roberts.
The appointment takes effect immediately.
