Chairman Morrison Announces Appointment of Maine Township Republican Committeeperson
Alsip, IL – Cook County Republican Party Chairman Sean M. Morrison has announced the appointment of Jim Stinson as Maine Township Republican Committeeperson.
“I’m excited to announce the appointment of Jim Stinson as the new Republican Committeeperson for Maine Township,” said Morrison. “Jim has the passion, energy and principles to usher in a new era of Republican leadership in Maine Township. I’m confident he will do a great job.”
Jim Stinson is a certified financial planner who owns and operates his own firm locally. He regularly coaches, volunteers and donates to various community groups. Jim serves on the Park Ridge Youth Commission, Reading in Motion Auxiliary Board, Advocate Lutheran General Hospital Junior Board, and Northwestern University’s Certified Financial Planner Program Advisory Board. Jim lives in Park Ridge with his wife and two young children.
Jim Stinson offered the following statement regarding his appointment:
“I’m honored to accept the appointment as the next Maine Township Republican Committeeperson. The Republican Party has long been the voice of personal freedoms, civil liberties and fiscal conservatism. We will steward these ideals forward through a culture of expansive, thoughtful and innovative leadership to engage a broader audience in the pursuit of a better future for the communities we serve.”
Stinson replaces Char Foss-Eggemann who held the post since 2014.
Morrison added, “I want to thank Char Foss-Eggemann for her many years of service to the Maine Township Republican Party. The time and effort she volunteered will not soon be forgotten. I wish Char and her family well.”
The appointment is effective immediately.
