Cook GOP Releases Latest Committeemen Support Program Scorecard

PALATINE, IL – The second installment of the Committeemen Support Program scorecard was released today by the Cook County Republican Party. The Scorecard covers the 3rd Quarter of 2013 (July – September).

“This quarter the benchmarks were more difficult to reach than last quarter, and not only did most of the townships maintain an excellent grade we also saw several drastically improve their scores. It is exciting to see what our Committeemen and their organizations are accomplishing as they prepare for the most important election cycle in recent memory. Thanks to the hard work of grassroots Republicans in Cook County, we will elect a Republican Governor in Illinois,” said Cook County Republican Party Chairman Aaron Del Mar.

Enrolled organizations receive an initial stipend and are eligible for further funding through the program. The funding each organization receives is directly tied to their score on the Scorecard. The Party projects that over $50,000 will be provided to Cook County Republican organizations this election cycle through the Committeemen Support Program, the first of its kind.

Del Mar explained the process: “Our goal is to ensure each of our organizations receive an A grade. To accomplish this, our team is actively helping each of the Committeemen and their organizations achieve the Scorecard milestones. This includes helping them develop a digital presence by building their website and getting them active on social media, providing new committeemen resources and guidance they hadn’t received from the Party previously, and assisting organizations with putting together and promoting their events.”

The next scorecard will be completed on December 15th and released to the public on December 16th. A copy of the scorecard is included with this release. To learn more about the Cook County Republican Party, visit www.CookRepublicanParty.com.
