Today, Sean M. Morrison, Chairman, Cook County Republican Party announced the appointment of Charles “Chuck” Anthony Hernandez as the new 38th Ward Republican Committeeman.
“It is my pleasure to announce the appointment of Charles Hernandez to the post of Republican Committeeman for the 38th Ward. Charles’ background and intimate understanding of the 38th Ward will help him succeed in this position, and I look forward to seeing the great work he will do,” said Morrison.
Charles is a lifelong Chicago resident and has 22+ years of service with the Chicago Police Department. He currently works as a Detective assigned to the North Bureau of Detectives, is actively involved in his church, the Harvest Bible Chapel-Niles, and is currently leading a group of 3rd and 4th graders in their Awana program.
“I am thankful to Chairman Morrison for the opportunity to serve the citizens and voters of the 38th Ward. I look forward to energizing the Republican base and supporting local candidates throughout the Ward,” said Hernandez.
The appointment takes effect immediately.
